Angela McConnell is the founder of Korezone Fitness. She has her Bachelor of Physical Education concentrating in Sports Performance. Angela has been a Personal Trainer since 2001 and she is proud to say that the majority of her clientele have been with her since the inception of Korezone Fitness.
Angela specializes in creating an effective, results-focused workout regime for each of her clients, based on their needs and goals. Her clients come from all walks of life and fitness backgrounds. They include:
- Pre and postnatal clients (she is currently expecting her third baby)
- Golfers
- Skiers
- Iron Man, marathon and triathlete competitors
Many of Angela’s clients, however, are individuals with specific health issues and training needs. She has had great success in helping people address osteopenia/ osteoporosis, heart conditions, recover from hip replacements/joint reconstruction/stroke, and, of course, fat loss goals.
One of the reasons for Angela’s great success is her enthusiastic spirit and strong commitment. She considers every client as a member of the Korezone Fitness family and takes a personal responsibility in the happiness, satisfaction and success of each and every client.
Balance. Strength. Well-being. These are words that resonate for Korezone co-owner Cíara Moynihan. Underpinning her fitness philosophy is the joy of sharing knowledge and an ability to enable and encourage others on their own personal journeys to health.
Cíara obtained her Personal Fitness Trainer Diploma from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2005. Shortly after she met her future business partner Angela McConnell. United in the shared vision of a warm inviting exercise space for supportive and facilitated movement, the team dreamed large. Korezone Fitness is the culmination of that vision.
In this welcoming atmosphere, Cíara is trained to tailor exercise programs designed to meet specific individual needs. Be it weight-loss, muscle building, injury strengthening, elite athletic training or achieving advancing overall fitness goals, Cíara objectives are always client-oriented and obtainable. She takes great care to instruct with an eye to form and movement, correcting muscle imbalances and posture so results are reflected both inside and outside the gym.

Steven Lunty's infatuation for sports, athletics and fitness is what brought him to NAIT. He moved from a small town, a farming community, in central Alberta to further his education and pursue a career in the fitness industry. He has been involved in sports since the tender young age of three, and his passion has flourished from there. With his wealth of knowledge and experience in sports and fitness he will have no problem accommodating your specific fitness or sporting goals.
When it comes to personal training Steven wants each person to discover the potential within themselves and reap the benefits of physical activity. He takes a dynamic personal approach to each person and their program.

Growing up as a competitive athlete, Traci Scholz had always been a living example of how exercise contributes to good physical and mental health. A number of years ago, though, she was struck with a debilitating illness from which doctors said her best hope was only a partial recovery in her stamina and ability to work full time.
Determined to lead a full and active life, Traci decided to become a student of how the right kind of exercise, natural nutrition and spiritual well being can be combined to create dramatic improvements in personal wellness and self esteem. And so, about seven years ago, she enrolled in NAIT's Personal Fitness Trainer (PFT) program and managed to balance the demands of a challenging academic program with a return to competitive volleyball serving as captain of the NAIT Ooks varsity team.
Graduating from the two year PFT program with distinction, Traci made such an impact as a student that NAIT's administration asked her to lead the PFT Distance Learning program in which students from all over the world could take NAIT's highly regarded curriculum without attending classroom training. The Distance Learning program grew dramatically under Traci's stewardship, but after three years she left to pursue her real love of hands on personal training.
Traci is absolutely passionate about helping people to feel better and live better. For her, every client is unique - each individual has a different starting point, different goals and different barriers to achieving those goals. Whether a client wants to recover from an injury, achieve a specific athletic milestone, or simply lose weight, Traci takes pride in creating a program that is specifically tailored to that individual.
Because of her specialized training and excellent reputation, Traci has been sought out by many competitive athletes (including visually impaired paralympians!). But her true delight is in the personal relationships that she develops with every day people as they progress toward better health and feeling better about themselves.
One of her clients who came to her with chronic back problems says about Traci, "My work with Traci has made such an amazing difference in my life. I can now play with my kids without fear that I'm going to be laid up for a week". Another client says, "In addition to helping me get fitter, Traci actually helped my whole family get a better handle on eating well by showing us better strategies for meal planning and grocery shopping. I can't say enough good things about Traci." And a third says, "I always feel better after my session with Traci, even when I arrive in a bad mood. She is so warm and encouraging and so focused on me...well, I just love that."
